         Policy

1. Class Schedule

  • Classes start promptly. We recommend arriving at least 5 to 10 minutes early to prepare and settle in for the class. Please keep in mind that our doors close 5 minutes after class begins to ensure a focused and uninterrupted experience. Due to the intimate nature of our studio, please be mindful of arriving only at the specified time, as there may be another class in progress.

  • Class schedules are subject to change. Members will be notified via email and on our social media platforms.

 

2. Cancellations

We truly appreciate you being part of Alma Yoga and showing up for your practice. To keep things flowing smoothly for everyone, here’s our cancellation and no-show policy:

  • Late Cancellation – $15 Fee: If you need to cancel, please do so at least 8 hours before class to avoid a fee. Cancellations made within 8 hours of class will have a $15 late cancellation fee.

  • No-Show – $20 Fee: If you miss a class without canceling, a $20 no-show fee will apply.

  • For Unlimited Package Holders:  Life happens! That’s why your first late cancellation or no-show will be waived. After that, the corresponding fee will be charged.

  • For Single-Class & Limited Package Holders:  The cancellation/no-show fee will apply, but your class won’t be lost—you’ll still be able to use it later.

 

 

3. Attendance Policy

 

  • Please keep in mind that our doors close 5 minutes after class begins to ensure a focused and uninterrupted experience.

  • If you feel unwell or have been sick, please refrain from attending to protect the health of others.

  • Due to the intimate nature of our studio, we kindly ask that you arrive with discretion if there is another class in session. This helps maintain a peaceful environment for all.

 

4. Behavior in Class

 

  • A respectful and supportive environment is expected among participants.

  • Harassment or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated and may result in expulsion from the studio.

  • NO PHONE POLICY, we kindly ask that all phones be silenced and stored away before class begins. The use of phones during class is not permitted. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a distraction-free environment where everyone can fully connect with their practice.

 

5. Use of Mats and Equipment

 

  • At Alma Yoga, we ask all members to treat studio mats and equipment with care. Please remember to clean your mat after use to maintain a hygienic environment for all.

  • We are pleased to offer complimentary yoga mats and towels for our PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP MEMBERS AND UNLIMITED WEEK PASS holders,  please note that there will be an additional fee of $4 for the use of a yoga mat and towel if you buy a single class or class package . You are more than welcome to bring your own.

 

6. Health and Wellness

 

  • If you have any medical conditions or injuries, please inform the instructor before class. It is essential to prioritize your health and well-being.

 

7. Guest Policy

 

  • As a small studio, we limit the number of participants in each class to maintain an intimate and personal atmosphere.

  • Members with the PREMIUM MEMBERSHIP can bring one guest per month to classes with prior reservation guests must sign a liability waiver before participating.

 

8. Footwear Policy

 

  • Please remove your shoes before entering the studio space. This helps maintain a clean and welcoming environment for all participants.

 

9. Membership and Payments

 

  • Memberships are personal and non-transferable.

  • Payments are due before the start of class or the renewal of membership.

 

10. Special Events and Workshops

 

  • Additional fees may be required to participate in special events and workshops.

  • Cancellation policies for these events will be specified at the time of registration.

 

11. Liability Waiver

 

  • All participants must sign a liability waiver prior to attending classes. This waiver acknowledges the risks associated with yoga practice and releases Alma Yoga from any liability for injuries sustained during participation.

 

12. Lost Personal Items

 

  • Alma Yoga is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. Participants are encouraged to keep their personal items secure and within sight during classes.

  • If you believe you have lost an item, please inform a staff member as soon as possible. Found items will be placed in the studio's lost and found and kept for 30 days. After this period, unclaimed items may be donated or disposed of at the studio's discretion.

  • We recommend that members do not bring valuable items, such as jewelry or large amounts of cash, to the studio.

  • We value your feedback. Please feel free to share any comments with the studio team.
